By establishing a new industry benchmark, The Approved Contractors Scheme (ACS), the Security Industry Authority (SIA) has enabled companies, regardless of size, to achieve a quality accreditation. Beyond Basics provides a consultancy service to assist companies in achieving ACS Standard through the Standard Route. Whilst one of the key elements of the ACS is the ability to deploy unlicensed yet trained labour, the ACS is more than a standard; it is a tool for industry self-improvement.

All our trainers are accredited and able to deliver the relevant courses offered. Training is undertaken in NOCN Approved Central London Training Centre & other approved centers throughout England, Wales and Scotland. We can also undertake training at various clients’ NOCN Approved training facilities. Where training rooms are not approved we will process applications to seek approval. We believe that our practical approach to training ensures effective subject retention & our industry experience more than prepares candidates for their chosen career.

Cost effective recruitment will be a necessity in a regulated security profession in order to stay ahead of the competition in the cost/profit balance. We have developed a recruitment service package that enables manned security companies to tap into new labour resources from outside the standard labour pool, by recruiting not only from the UK employment market but also the British Services and European Member States.
