NOCN Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations

(Public Space Surveillance)

This course comprises two units and has been developed to meet the SIA Core Competency requirements as part of the Licensing process. Other companies may offer only the core competency training, whilst we have developed extra modules to benefit the individual, the company and the client.

Who should attend?

This course is a requirement of the SIA for all personnel wishing to work in the Security Industry as CCTV (public space surveillance) operatives supplied under contract.

The course is knowledge and skills based, covering:

•Roles and responsibilities of CCTV Public Space Surveillance (PSS) Operators

•Codes of practice, operational procedures and guidelines

•CCTV equipment and its operation

•Control Room communication, and access control

•Legislation

•Dealing with incidents

•Surveillance techniques

•Fire and emergency procedures and

•Health and Safety
